Guy Sebastian to sing climate anthem at Eurovision Song Contest
4Australia’s Eurovision Song Contest entrant Guy Sebastian is set to wow Europe with an anthem about climate change.
And the singer hopes his song will not just win votes for Australia but put an end to the climate change debate once and for all.
“The song has a really positive message,” said Sebastian.
“We’re not going to die from climate change.”
Called The Climate’s Alright, Sebastian’s pop ballad urges the world to come together as one in the face of climate change doomsayers:
The climate’s alright
And I won’t deny it
Australia’s got it right
And you oughta try it
Yeah, the climate’s alri-i-ght
Although Sebastian remains tight-lipped on how he will perform the number, he hinted that the song’s middle eight could feature a special guest performer:
My love for you
Burns like coal
Feel the energy
“I really can’t say if Tony Abbott is, or isn’t, going to be singing with me in Vienna,” said Sebastian.
“Tony is one of the biggest entertainment figures in the world right now so it would be a huge coup for Australia’s Eurovision chances if he comes on board.”
“But Tony’s a very busy man and who knows what he’ll be doing in May.”

Ha ha. Who knows if he will still be our PM in May. I would love Tony to be part of this. Maybe it would take some of the heat of Guy. Surely he isn’t as disliked as our Prime Minister at the moment. But maybe he is going on the tweets, newspaper, blog and music site articles of the last few days.
He should definitely wear his budgie smugglers too. Not Guy. The PM. That would really share the flak between the two of them.
“My love…burns like coal” LOL!!!!
A Guy and Tony duet in budgie smugglers would be unforgettable. Literally.
