Hillary Clinton has confirmed her status as frontrunner for the Democratic presidential nomination after her rivals scored her a clear winner of the party’s first televised debate.
Over two hours of spirited oneupmanship, Hillary Clinton’s male rivals for the Democrats nomination each laid claims to being her biggest fan.
“I think the Secretary is right,” said some man claiming to be Vermont senator Bernie Sanders.
“Hillary Clinton would make one heck of a President.”
Someone calling himself Martin O’Malley even interrupted one of his own answers to praise Mrs Clinton.
“Heck, why are you asking me that question?” he said.
“This lady over here will know the answer. She’s going to be the next President of the United States!”
After the Democrats Debate, the rival candidates crowded Mrs Clinton in the hope of getting a selfie or, better still, a chance to run as her vice presidential nominee.
Political commentators have described the debate as conclusive evidence that everyone believes Hillary Clinton will be the Democratic nominee for US President.
