Queensland Premier Campbell Newman has called for the sale of Brisbane Broncos premierships for the good of the state.
“When I found out that the Broncos had six Premier’s hips, I was obviously appalled,” said Mr Newman.
“As the current Premier, I can assure you that you only need two of the things.”
“As a matter of urgency, I will be speaking to the Broncos board and demanding that the club sell at least four of their Premier’s hips. Some of the proceeds should then go to the government so that we can fund more police, more fire fighters, more nurses, more doctors.”
Connections of the Melbourne Storm have confirmed that they are interested in buying some of the Brisbane Broncos premierships, having lost two of their own recently.
