Authorities in California have revealed that Robin Williams has continued to crack jokes despite his tragic death.
An official from the coroner’s office said that investigations into Williams’ death have been hampered due to the comedian continuing to make jokes some 48 hours after he was found dead in his home.
“There have been reported incidents in the past of bodies involuntarily moving after death,” said the official.
“But this is the first time we can recall a deceased person having investigating officers in stitches.”
The official refused to divulge the nature of Williams’ jokes other than to say they were funnier than those of most comedians still alive today.
Friends of the late comedian have not been surprised by the news.
“Robin never had an off button when he was alive,” said one former stand-up colleague.
“Great comedians can be funny in their sleep. But Robin Williams was so amazing he’s proved he can even be funny after he’s died.”
