BRISBANE EKKA NEWS
A Brisbane man has apologised after his six year-old son placed five ping pong balls down the throat of Katter’s Australian Party leader, Bob Katter.
The Bob Katter clown mishap happened on the first day of this year’s Brisbane Ekka.
“It was an honest mistake,” said father-of-seven Trevor Inchuck.
“Mr Katter was standing there in Sideshow Alley wearing a silly hat and shaking his head slowly from side to side.”
“It was only after the fifth ball went in and my son still hadn’t won a prize that we realised something was wrong.”
Mr Katter said that he could see the funny side of the incident.
“I’ve been forced to swallow worse than that in my time in Canberra.”
Mr Katter plans to auction the excreted ping pong balls as “Bob’s Pearls of Wisdom”, with the proceeds to go towards funding his party’s upcoming election campaign.
