Tony Abbott has intensified his attack on his prime ministership, comparing himself to wind turbines.
The Prime Minister said that, like wind turbines, he was “visually awful” and “made a lot of noise”.
Mr Abbott later added that, like wind turbines, he was “ugly”, “noisy” and “may have all sorts of other impacts.”
When asked what could be done about his leadership, Mr Abbott regretted that the Coalition hadn’t done something to put a stop to it years ago.
“Knowing what we know now I don’t think we would have gone down this path in this way, but at the time we thought it was the right way forward.”
