Today, ABC TV weather presenter, Jenny Woodward, gives us her forecast for the coming weeks.It’s been a blustery August, with hot air from Canberra playing havoc with Australia’s weather patterns.
But there’s a definite change in the air as the winds of change look set to blow in.
Most forecasters now agree that the El Libro system will push out the La Labor depression which has dominated weather patterns for the last few years.
Expect a lot of turbulence as the two systems collide over the next couple of weeks.
High wind warning
For marginal seats up and down the east coast, especially from Port Douglas to Double Island Point.
The Coalition has issued flood warnings for Northern Queensland, advising that the area is set to be inundated by illegal arrivals.
Residents are advised to exercise extreme caution as this flooding has not been confirmed by the Bureau at the current time – or by anyone else for that matter.
High pressure systems
Marginal electorates can expect moderate showers of electoral sweeteners over the coming days.

The SOI is through the roof this week, with both systems obfuscating at rates not seen since the 1977 Dismissal.
